Hence the idea of this project, with the primordial intention of re-awaken and preserve the experiences of the people who lived in the houses.
Assembling all the stories of the gathering on tape, we developed a publication with a CD in ode to the small things that have shaped the everyday life of the residents of Cases Barates in Bon Pastor, through short stories of the second generation who lived in the houses, born between the 40’s and the 50’, creating a portrait of their lives with many anecdotes to explain.

After a long debate between keeping the houses or replacing them with flats, the neighbors of Cases Barates of Bon Pastor (Barcelona) opted to move to the new apartments just right next to their former homes. This provoked a huge change in the neighborhood’s dynamic and endangered its memory.
