In today’s society people tend to spend the majority of their time focused on doing and producing more, thus leaving less time for reflection and focus on personal wellbeing. How often our dinner conversations revolve around current affairs, politics, sports or the current health crisis?
Our emotional wellbeing though is placed aside, often at the expense of our ability as individuals to reflect on our current state of mind. This notion of emotional aridity has motivated us to look beyond the actual status quo and superficiality of the typical dinner conversations with our close ones.
“La sobretaula”, being the prolongation of a meal where people interact, is an agent for change. We think of this moment as an opportunity: to reflect, to share our concerns, to be understood and to better understand others within this context of space & time. With the specific intention of guiding and enhancing deeper conversations during “la sobretaula”, we’ve created a group experience to impulse a more personal level of social engagement.
